Like most women in the world, I feel I could do with losing a few pounds. In fact that's not strictly true. I don't pay attention to the bathroom scales; weight is basically meaningless. What I care about is inches. I want to take two or three inches off my waist, the same from my hips (and if I can manage that, the bust will follow suit!). Basically for vanity, of course, but mostly because it will mean I can buy so many more vintage clothes!
So I am starting a series of posts of diet and exercise articles from vintage magazines, and I'll try to discipline myself to put into practice the advice contained therein. Wish me luck - and feel free to join in and let me know how you get on!
