1940s Shoes

Some vintage shoe adverts...

I've so many more shoe adverts to scan, but these will do for the moment. I'm constantly on the lookout for a pair of fabulous 40s shoes for myself (on my wishlist!). Found some lovely 1940s-esque peep-toe shoes in M&S the other day, but they're just the wrong shape for my feet, sadly.

  1. Oh, the M&S shoes are purty! I have a thing for shoes (as my Ebay account can attest as I've had to sell half of them!) and peep-toes are on my wishlist too. Good luck with your search.

  2. I love old averts, they always seem to have so much more effort put into them than modern ones do. I always think that adverts now ruin beautiful magazines, but they were always lovely to look at in those days! Your blog is so beautiful, and your photo-montage things are really amazing!
