Week-End Strip-Teasing

A lesson in travelling light - this feature from Everywoman magazine August 1948 shows how an ingenious set of pieces can be worn in various ways and combinations for five different looks.

This is a strip-teasing act in five scenes. It takes place during a week-end at the seaside and here's the leading lady.

Scene 1. Completely dressed; bolero over matching dress; large hat swathed with striped silk.

Scene 2. Bolero is removed and dress is discovered.

Scene 3 - Evening. Dress is taken off the shoulders.

Scene 4. Dress is removed revealing brief underskirt and bra; bolero is replaced.

Scene 5 - On the beach. Everything's off but the bra and trunks.

  1. I love this so much, what a great idea for on holiday!!

  2. So cute! love it. Although I don't know where to get such a versitaile dress. Or how to spell versatile :(

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
