Oh my goodness, I've done the exact same thing! I think it looks lovely!
Ginger, out of interest what paper did you use for the decoupage?
I really like it, it looks perfect next to the record hats too!!From Carys of La Ville Inconnue
Looks fantastic! Was the head a styrofoam kind? I have an ugly (but budget friendly ;) white foam one that I hate how it looks... I may have to investigate covering it. Oh, and I'm totally coveting those hats!!! I saw your tutorial (silly me--somehow I hadn't put your blog on my Google reader! :p) and am thinking I might have to try making one. ;)♥ Caseyblog | elegantmusings.com
I really love your mannequin head. I think it looks great. ^__^xox, bonita of Depict This!
I think she looks great - a lot better than how they look in their originaly state - which is not nice!!! The hats are also lovely!
Charlotte, I tried a few different things as I had multiple heads to cover. I believe I used different tissue papers as well as some old legal typing paper that I have copious amounts of. Anything thin seems to work best for me when I am "decoupaging".
I really like it decoupaged! It adds a really stylish element. :)
I think I'll cover mine with sunday comic strip paper. Thanks for the idea. m.
I'd love to hear your thoughts!
