I decoupaged my mannequin head

I'm actually not totally convinced it improves it - what do you think?

Incidentally these are some of the record hats that I'll be listing in my etsy store.

  2. Ginger, out of interest what paper did you use for the decoupage?

  4. Looks fantastic! Was the head a styrofoam kind? I have an ugly (but budget friendly ;) white foam one that I hate how it looks... I may have to investigate covering it.

Oh, and I'm totally coveting those hats!!! I saw your tutorial (silly me--somehow I hadn't put your blog on my Google reader! :p) and am thinking I might have to try making one. ;)

  6. I think she looks great - a lot better than how they look in their originaly state - which is not nice!!!

    The hats are also lovely!

  7. Charlotte, I tried a few different things as I had multiple heads to cover. I believe I used different tissue papers as well as some old legal typing paper that I have copious amounts of. Anything thin seems to work best for me when I am "decoupaging".
