The King's Speech

One word: wonderful.

A few more words: Rarely has anything made me feel so patriotic. And oh, the costumes. The hats! The pearls. The fingerwaves!

And two of my favourite actors, Colin Firth and Helena Bonham Carter, at their absolute finest.

Plus it's really funny. If you haven't already, go see it right away.

  1. Isn't it divine? But then how could it not be with Geoffrey Rush and Colin Firth. And it makes us Australians feel patriotic, too: it's been getting rounds of applause and standing ovations all over the country. Which is NOT something we typically do at the cinema, I can assure you.

  3. This is shaping up to be a real classic. Love the Firth, and Bonham Carter is forever amazing. Can't wait see this. (Although trips to the cinema seem a distant memory since parenthood!!) I'm sure it fully deserves all the accolades coming it's way.
