{Style Inspiration} Vogue's Spring Colour Schemes 1955

What to wear with what: Vogue's spring colour schemes 1955. One of the things I'm always seeking inspiration for is colour combinations, and aren't these just delicious? This was a little pull-out insert in Vogue magazine, April 1955.

Care is needed when mixing green and blue, but in these muted pastel tones it's a heavenly combination. Yellow and candy pink - could anything spell spring better?

Shades of green with a pop of magenta? Yes please! Earthtones green, mustard and chocolate accented with periwinkle blue - love it.

Banana and chocolate with the contrast of fabulous peacock blue: yum. Shades of blue and slate grey combine for sleek sophistication.

Pink, pink and pink - can things get any better? Yes, by adding chartreuse shoes!
