I can't tell you how astonishingly beautiful the weather has been the past few days - bright sunshine and summer warmth, just amazing (bearing in mind this is Britain, in April). So I've been spending as much time as possible outdoors, in that typical British compulsion to make the most of the sunshine while it lasts (which inevitably won't be long), and excitedly pulling out my favourite sundresses from the spare wardrobe.
This dress is a bit of a summer staple, being so easy to wear (it's been featured on this blog at least twice before). Isn't green, pink and yellow a great colour scheme? Actually in my head this was a green and pink scheme with yellow as an accent colour, but because the dress is mostly green, it turned out more green and yellow with pink accents. But I'm okay with that.
I pinned my hair up into my new favourite quickish, easy style, faux Victory rolls (unlike real ones, the hair isn't actually rolled up in the middle, but twisted around and through to the back, where it joins the rest of the hair in a regular coiled bun), and met Mr. Matin for a picnic lunch in the park.
