Vintage/Modern

I really like the print of this dress (hard to see, but it's little cherries and apples and other fruit), but it's so obviously modern that it can be a struggle to style it within my vintage aesthetic. But it's fun for a little vintage/modern challenge every so often.

Isn't it funny how a modern outfit completely changes the look of my forties style peeptoes? When I wear them with a more vintage look they look thoroughly retro, but this ensemble gives them a more kawaii / babydoll air.
