If you were wondering what was under the coat I posted yesterday...
I know - short sleeves in the dead of winter? (Short sleeved knitwear is one of my sister's pet hates!) But it's actually pretty mild when the sun's out, despite the intermittent howling gales and pelting rain.
This is my second circle skirt, which I purchased months ago and have worn several times, but not yet posted here. The colours are just beautiful - hot pink and coral red flowers with accents of taupe and deep, inky indigo, on a background of soft shades of grey. This makes it super versatile and I can wear it (and indeed have!) with any shade of red, pink or coral, and because the indigo and greys go fine with either black or navy - result! This skirt will see me through winter and spring, so look out for it again in future outfit posts.
The sweater is a recent ebay purchase - I'm on a major shopping ban since I'm flat broke, but, well, it was 99p... It's handknit in a pale peaches and cream variegated yarn, but it ended up a little washed out in the photos.
Oh, and I nearly forgot about the shoes! I can't tell you how many times I've been into Clarks to try on and admire their Bombay Lights style, but I've always had to walk away because I can't afford them. So imagine my joy when I spotted a pair in the window of a local charity shop! Barely worn, in a discontinued navy blue patent, and £10. Score.
