Spoonflower Art Deco Contest

Wow, I placed FIFTH in the Spoonflower contest with my Flapper Fans design. I'm inordinately excited and want to send a massive thank you to all 602 of you who voted for me! All the top ten designs are gorgeous (and many more which didn't place in the top ten are equally fab).

Here's how my design looks printed on quilting weight cotton (might have to adjust the mint green as it turns out a little washed out - what do you think?)

  1. It's lovely, what is the scale? I think you are right about the green as I thought it was blue!

  5. It's really beautiful. I can just see it in a hawaii-ish style dress, the sun shinning from a blue sky, a lovely man and an icecream by and in the hand...

  6. So pretty. I'd happily make a skirt or a summer dress for myself in that fabric!

  9. I agree about the green. It surprised me when going through the voting how many of the fabrics weren't very Art Deco at all ...
