Tuppence Ha'penny Clothing

I have a little announcement - I'm launching my own clothing line. Well sort of: I've started sewing blouses to sell! They're made in vintage style novelty print cottons, including some of my own vintage repro fabrics, from the same early 40s pattern I used for my WAAF blouse. I've added three styles already to my etsy shop, with more to come. All the blouses are made on a vintage sewing machine, using authentic vintage methods and finishes including pinked seams. I've also used vintage buttons on all the blouses, so each one will be different.

So far I've made only medium size (34-36" bust), but if these are successful I hope to expand the size range soon.

  1. Brilliant! I'm doing a WWII reenactment next month, and have been trying to narrow down a civilian impression. I love these blouses, and I love the spitfire print in your spoonflower shop!

  2. They look gorgeous, but right now not my size. And the shipping costs are a little too high for my taste right now.
Nonetheless your pieces are really lovely and something I should keep in mind^^

  12. Gosh darnit! I so wish I wasn't pregnant right now; I'd add one of these to my Christmas list!!! :D Funnily enough, I don't really have any basic-style, vintage button up blouses; most are novelty styles since I can't seem to make myself sew something of a more tailored nature. lol. Best of luck to you!!!
